Affiliate Disclosure
Plain-spoken, the way we'd want it.
A Place To Visit is reader-supported. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. That means if you click one and book a tour, a stay, or another travel product, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. You pay exactly the same price you'd pay going to the partner's site directly.
These commissions are how we keep A Place To Visit running and how we can spend the time to write guides that are actually useful, rather than packed with ads.
A few promises about how we use them:
- We only recommend things we'd genuinely suggest to a friend. If something isn't worth your money, we'll tell you that, even if a competitor pays a better rate.
- We don't get paid to write positive reviews. Our opinions are our own.
- We try to flag affiliate links clearly, and we'll tell you when a section of an article includes them.
- We'd rather lose the commission than send you on a bad trip.
If you ever feel we've crossed that line, please tell us, we take it seriously. You can reach us at hello@aplacetovisit.example.
Thanks for supporting independent travel writing.
